House Warming Party

People can start showing up any time after 6:00 PM. Don't feel like you can't come if you can't get there by 6:00!
Where
John's new place, at 1238 Intrepid Dr. It's a fair distance from CSU, so it would probably make sense for people to carpool.
What
Food
I am featuring some of Matt Scott's famous finger foods! There will most likely be spanikopitas, as well as some other snacky items that will be listed here as soon as Matt and I figure them out.
Matt Says: I'm thinking some potstickers/gyoza, as well, if we're not all tired of Asian food still - I promise no kimchi!
There will also be potato chips, tortilla chips, and salsa. Feel free to bring other snack food!
Beer
For those who drink beer, I'll have some excellent beers on tap:
Big Horn Brewers (CB & Potts) Apricot Ale
I'll also have bottles of various New Belgium and Odell brews, and hopefully some homebrew beer by Brian Thompson.
Other beverages
For those who do not drink beer (or for when you get sick of beer, if that's possible), I'll have other beverages:
- Orange juice
- Coca-Cola
- Dr Pepper
- Sprite
- Gourmet root beer
If you want something that isn't listed, let me know and I'll make sure I have it.
Music
I'm thinking mainly jazz stuff (Count Basie, Miles Davis). I also have a fair amount of electronic music, and lots of pop from when I was in high school, but not lots of new stuff. If you have music you want played, go ahead and bring it. If people get sick of jazz, we'll play it!
Games
I have a big card table, big enough for 8–12 people to play on. I have some poker chips too, but probably not enough for that many—if you want to play poker and you have chips, please bring them.
Afterwards
I won't be kicking people out that night, so if you need to stay late to sober up, that's fine, and there's room for some people to crash for the night as well. (I have a guest bedroom, couches, a hide-a-bed, and an air mattress.)
I'm totally up for deep conversations afterwards while listening to Enigma or other chill-out music. Sometimes the after-party is the best part!
